Juno Ferreira
Independent photographer based in Lisbon. I work slowly, mostly on film, and mostly in places where not much appears to be happening.
I grew up between Porto and the Algarve and studied photography in Lisbon before assisting on fashion sets in Paris for three years. Since 2019 I have worked independently, dividing my time between commissions for magazines and brands, and long personal projects along the Iberian coast.
My work has appeared in Vogue Portugal, Kinfolk and Monocle, and has been shown in group exhibitions in Lisbon, Madrid and Arles. When I am not travelling I run a small open studio on the last Friday of each month.
Services
What I can help with
Features, portraits and photo essays for print and digital magazines. Usually two to five days on location, delivered as a considered edit rather than a contact sheet.
Campaigns, lookbooks and brand imagery with a documentary feel. I work with a small crew and prefer real locations to studio sets.
Sittings in the Lisbon studio or on location, for individuals, families and companies. Sessions are unhurried and rarely last less than an hour.
Selected images from personal projects are available as signed, limited-edition prints. Write to me for the current list and sizes.
